Gundam - Mission to the Rise

Gundam: Mission to the Rise is a short 3 minute OVA that was released on Gundam's 20th anniversary. The story depicts the Earth Federation Forces attempting to launch as vessel that will break the speed of light. Zeon forces attack the launch site but not quickly enough to stop the Earth forces from launching one vessel into a black hole.

The short film is all CGI produced. The art is aethetically very appealing to look at. There is short narration at the beginning of the film that  has the same very formal and serious tone that we hear in original Gundam 0079. This particular OVA is very reminiscent of Gundam Evolve.
I would recommend taking the three minutes to watch this short OVA.
